The Logo
We want to thank the Bryggens Museum, Bergen for allowing us to use this
Runic inscription for the conference logo.
The inscription is no. B055. It has been found in layers from before 1332
AD. In normalized Norse it says:
Hér fer Hafdjarfr (Here sails the courageous sea-farer)
